My son and I collaborated on this. We really wanted the ACU's and the flag to look as real as possible. We did Mellow Moss around the rim of the goggles since they really are green. Black for the weapon sling, and going gray (kinda dark) for the weapon, and caramel (kinda dark) for the subdued flag patch on the chest. For the ACU's we used the going gray marker and sorta dabbed at the CS with the brush tip of the marker after we stamped in Jet Black Stazon. For a Marine digital camo, we found that mellow moss and creamy caramel markers worked well for the woodland, and caramel on very vanilla works well for the desert.
The flag stripes are a little off on the stamp, but we made it work. Summer sun was used on the flag cords.

I can't wait to get my set. My husband is on his second tour and I can't wait to honor him with this stamp set. Thanks for your great ideas.

I can't wait to use this stamp set. As a Mom and adoptive Mom of many Soldiers, I write letters each week. I've run out of ideas for cards (I ALWAYS write in my cards for them instead of plain letters). This gave me the inspiration to get started.
