Waking up one morning with our woods frosted, the trees looked like copper sprinkled with diamonds in the sunrise. I stamped this tree with Encore copper onto Very VAnilla, then used Irridescent Ice embossing powder trying to capture the effect. The Irridescent Ice changed the color of the copper ink to sort of a gold so I just took it from there. The scan does not show the sparkle of the tree or the grass under the tree.

Oooo, can't see the sparkly in the pic, but I can imagine it! I never thought of putting irr. ice on copper, wonderful combo! It was nice to read how you were inspired too!

Very pretty, Coleen! I think your coppery autumn morning inspiration is played out wonderfully here. Love your tag treatment too. Photos are tough to capture sparkle, but scanners are even tougher. TFS. Linda
