I read about an awesome card drive hosted by Lizzie Anne designs that benefits the organization 'Cards for Cancer'. This has been helpful to me too because I could play with one of my newest Lizzie Anne set - Christmas in the City!
I stamped the main image (skates) and added color and sparkle with Copic markers and Spica pens. I wish you could see how awesome these little Spica pens really are! I knew the image "needed something"... so I pulled out my Papertrey Ink Borders & Corners set and was thrilled to see that it framed my little skates perfectly! The card edges are "distressed" by using a sponge and Creamy Caramel ink.
This paper is from my newest FAVORITE paper pack that I found at Michaels! It's by K&Co (Wild Saffron Collection). You'll be seeing this paper on my blog A LOT I'm sure! It's all gorgeous! This sketch is for Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday Contest. I really like the layout and I'm sure I'll have to try it out again sometime! The final touch to this card is a piece of Hodgepodge hardware that I slipped on. I like how it resembles the swirls on the skate's laces.
