My upline asked me to come up with a Thanksgiving card using True Friend and the Apple Cider DP. This is one that didn't make the cut. I could not find a way to put the sentiment on the outside no matter how hard I tried. I reversed the paper and used it for the corners. It would have looked better with the wider grosgrain but I don't have it .... yet! What would ya'll have done differently?

Love the colors, I'm going to have to get that paper now. I do agree with you about the ribbon. The wider chocolate ribbon would balance? the wider photo corners a little better. But still love it all the same

I agree with everyone else that it is a very nice card. It caught my eye enough to look at it. ;) But... if you are looking for suggestions or ideas to add to your card, what do you think about... adding aged copper brads to the photo corners and a larger one (I know we (SU) don't carry larger sized, but it would look nice) for the center of the flower or maybe just use some crystal effects on the center. Maybe cutting out the flower and popping it up on dimensionals. You could make the ribbon appear wider by putting a strip of choc chip card stock underneath the ribbon. As for adding a sentiment, I might have tried to put it on some sort of tag, wether it be an oval, circle, part of a word window punch and hung it off the ribbon with a piece of hemp, cording, linen thread or floss possibly off to the left side as the photo corner is on the right. What you decide all depends on how much time you want to spend on a card. I hope that helps, but like I said above, the card stands on it's own as is too. Good luck!
