I like the matting idea. How about tearing the bottom edge and rubbing the brown on the torn edge? Or use the hodgepodge piece that looks a little like a buckle and chocolate grosgrain or strip of brown cardstock, and put it across the bottom area of the card to evoke a belt? Post what you come up with

I am thinking brads in the lower right corner...silver maybe, or vintage copper so that they pop?
Or, faux stitching all the way around the outside with white gel pen. Adding that "pop" of color.

I agree that a torn edge and a mat under the shirt might really 'set it off'. Great job on folding the shirt, though!! Can't wait to see what you change!
