I made this for Color Challenge 99 which was to use Night of Navy, Taken with Teal, and a neutral (I chose Whisper White). It's pretty cold outside right now, and snow is predicted over the next couple of days. That, combined with these colors put me in the mood to break out the hat and mittens from the Merry set. I decided to use the sketch from Sketch Challenge 108 because I didn't have a chance to do it last week.
I used floss to make the fringe on the tip of the hat and liquid applique to create the fleece trim on the hat and mittens. Both the hat and the mittens were inked around the edges with Night of Navy to make sure they stood out a bit from the background; they were also mounted on pop dots. The snow background on the main image and the snowflake are heat embossed with white EP mixed with a little glitter. The teal snowflakes on the mittens have Stickles on them to make them sparkle.

WOWZA!!!!! Love the colors, the embellishments, the sparkles, the saying, the layers.....
This beautiful card went right into my favorites!
Your basic design of the card is WONDERFUL, and could be used in so many other ways! I can see a birthday cake where the hat and mittens are, etc.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful card!
