This is my simplified version of a card from the Nov. '06 Stampin' Success magazine article featuring the faux shaving cream technique. THe card needs a little more "umph," so I wholeheartedly welcome any suggestions. As is, the card is easy enough for a make-and-take or stamp-a-stack.
Rather than using a wheel, I thought it was easier to remove the red ink with another small stamp. In this case I just used the same Happy Holidays stamp to create the faux shaving cream effect on the letters as I used for the circle accent. After stamping each letter, I did need to stamp off excess ink from the Happy Holidays stamp before using it to swirl/remove ink from the next letter. TFL

Hmm...love how it turned out. But I'm confused. So you stamped up the letters and then basically used a smaller stamp to scrape off some of the ink? Like kissing but less structured? Look cool.

I don't think it needs anything at all. Some of the simplest cards are the cutest! I think it's sooo cute! Don't be surprised if it gets cased. It's great!! ;)
