On one of this week's challenge cards, Rainy mentioned that she made a scallopped circle using the slit punch. So I decided to try to figure out how it might be done. Not sure if she did it the same way, but it turned out rather neat.
Added stickles to the wings and wand and around the flower b/c every magical moment needs to sparkle. Loved this challenge b/c it got me to look at word stamps differently.
The dimensionals behind the flower made scanning a bit difficuilt.
Edited to add directions for making scallops using your slit punch, by popular request:
I hope I can make sense here...
This is what I did...not sure what others have done. I had strips of CS that I punch with the slit punch. Then I cut out the bottom on both sides so that the curved edge was separated from the strip. Make the bottom long enough so you have a place to glue. Then I glued the "petals" or scallops onto the back of a circle...though today I saw someone do it along the edge of a strip of paper. It was really easy and looks really cute! And it's a nice way to use up small strips of CS that you can't bear to throw away, yet you don't have much else to use them for.
Happy Scallopping!
