Congratulations to Brian (ZPAW Now!) this week's featured stamper chosen by Julie. Brian is one creative dude! I loved this card: F4A698 Le Rouge Ballon by ZPAW Now at Splitcoaststampers and I immediately thought of a silhouette stamp I had gotten at a garage sale. It was a little girl with a star, but it was just an acrylic stamp and did not take the black ink well at all. I think it is going in the round file, lol....Anyways, not to be outdone, I resorted to diecutting an ornament in black and made it a one layer Christmas card instead of his great themed layout. Enjoy your well deserved week in the spotlight Brian!!

This is so striking! I love the glittery ornament top! beautiful card! I have had some stamps that won’t take ink, sometimes it helps me if I take an emery board to the surface of the stamp to rough it up a bit for ink.

I love that you chose this card to case! Your 3-color result became equally fabulous - and then you added gold stars! Plus you have another card to mail this Christmas, which is coming fast. Great job Shirl.

Shirl, this is a great case of Brian's inspiration card. The large ornament with the red sparkly top is so prominent and looks great on the white background. I love the gold stars and sparkly sentiment..

Well, I think your "themed" CASE is equally wonderful. I love how you captured the essence of Brian's card here with the colors and the large black element -- very creative. I would never think to have a black ornament; but against the white and pops of red it looks fabulous. Great card, Shirl
