This week Linda has shared a tutorial on using kleenex to add texture to watercolor paintings. What I learned about this is, ( this photo is the dry ending, the wet shots are here on the blog) I either need darker paint or a lighter hand with the tissue or both. ( I seem to have better luck with stiffer paper towels from the kitchen) There is also a bloom in the tutorial but, I did not leave room for any to be blooming here so, skipped that part. Your painting looks fantastic. I agree with you about the paper toweling. I prefer to use it more than the tissue. Maybe it absorbs more than the tissue. This sample is wonderful.
