Thanks for another very fun WCW Challenge this week. I really enjoyed the video tutorial. I was happy to see that this week's technique is wet on wet.
I've been doing quite a bit of wet on wet practice lately. That doesn't necessarily make it any easier since watercolor has a mind of it's own! The hardest part for me today was painting the bird. I painted a few "practice birds" before I felt comfortable enough to paint in on my project.
Fun fact: The branches were inspired from a photo that I took of the tree in our backyard. I took the photo just a few days ago.

Beautiful background with the wet-on-wet technique. Great job with the tree and limbs. You have a nice soft touch with the brush. How interesting that you used your own photo for the reference of the tree. Fav'd

Beautiful with a wonderful sky of great colors. I like that the branch is taken from the one in your yard. Good job with the bird, too.
