Congratulations to Kittie Caracciolo aka kittie747 as our Featured Stamper this week - FS796. Her detailed creations have been inspiring me here on Splitcoast for a long time - so YAY for some additional recognition!
I selected FS540, Fishy Fishscale by kittie747 at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge because I love her colorful fish and never had seen a background layered in this manner. Also I had a few similar dies to use for my attempt!
My scallops run horizontal so I had to turn my card, and I stamped a few things behind the dies to try for a sense of motion in another layer. I found the seashell in my leftovers bin - already fussy cut - and tried to color match my big fishes. I also used the mirror image technique somewhat acceptably on my envelope.
This was a fun exercise and I am pleased with the result - so THANKS kittie747 and enjoy seeing how you inspire the community this week!

Gayle, the way you colored up those fish is amazing. Wonderful die and wonderful case/card! I need to go find that set and try to color those fish like yours. Fun card! Hugz

Gayle, this is such a great case of my card. I love the underwater scene background you added behind the fish scale-scallop die cut cover. The coloring on the fish is absolutely amazing. Wonderful card.
