Not sure I followed the technique exactly but I have trees. I did put some creases in the length of some pieces of tape so my trees weren't all identical. I used a brown / black paint on one of my old bosses business cards to edge my trees.

It looks fabulous, Janine. I like the creases (good idea) that make the tree look even more real. I agree, this one was easy and I love the outcome everyone got. Nice sky, too. Bet you didn't have to put one in the bin this week.

The texture looks amazing on those trees! I like that you crossed the trees just like we would see in nature. Your sky is gorgeous! A fabulous painting. Your sentiment is so very true.
