For Sandy's WT crayon challenge I tried the mulberry batik technique. I don't think I've ever done this one. It was fun and I got to pull out some supplies I haven't used in a long time...watercolor crayons and mulberry paper. TFL!

I remember that I did this with something other than watercolour crayons, mine died of old age and too much sun. I love the colours in your flowers, just beautiful. And the swirly background is great with them.

Polly, I think you've inspired me to try this technique. The sample on the tutorial had really muted colors but the bright, vibrant shades you used are so appealing. And I think I have tons of mulberry paper (I'm the queen of buying craft supplies just as it goes out of style.)
