This card was made for Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #635. I chose to use a wreath as my focal point. It was made from die cutting two different shades of green Stampin' Up! (SU) cardstock (3 layers) using the "Seasonal Swirls" die set. The cute little holly leaves are die cut using the same set. The holly berries were punched from SU Cherry Cobbler cardstock, then after gluing them down, I used Wink of Stella to add sparkle and shine to them. The gold "ornaments" on the wreath are Recollections rhinestones.
The red background panel was dry embossed using a SU "Timber" embossing folder. I spritzed it with water to allow an extra deep embossing pattern.
The sentiment was stamped with SU Soft Succulent ink two times to darken it, then die cut using the SU "Stitched Nested Labels" die. It was adhered to the front of the card using foam tape for dimension.
The card base is thick SU Basic White that I had embossed with falling snowflakes using the SU "Softly Falling" embossing folder.
The red/white bakers twine was wound around the red panel before the panel was glued to the card base.
The wonderful "Seasonal Swirls" die set made this card really easy to create. For that reason, I am giving it a difficulty rating of "2" out of a possible "5".
