I trimmed Simon Says Stamp Fog Cardstock to create 4 - 3.1/4" x 6.1/4" panels and added a hand cut snowbank across the bottom. I applied Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink through the Simon Says Delicate Snowflakes 4" x 9" stencil. I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Tiles Triangles Thinlits to die-cut the trees from the Rustic Vintage papers included in the kit and with 5 dies of each size, woohoo it was one pass through my die-cutting machine. I used my new friend, Tim Holtz Mini Trimmer to cut strips of varying widths from the left over Fog Cardstock to use as the tree trunks.
I fixed the trees in place with Distress Collage Medium, stamped the star from the Season Of Joy stamp set, inked with Fired Brick Distress Oxide and added Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Christmas Remnant Rubs.
I trimmed lightweight white card to 8" x 7.1/2" to create the card pockets, scored at 2" and 5.3/4" on the longer side and 1" on the shorter side and trimmed away the side sections on the bottom to create a flap for closure.
I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Stacked Tiles Circle Thinlits to create a notch at the top of each pocket and stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from Season Of Joy, inked with Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink.
I added small strips of the Rustic Vintage papers to the pockets to co-ordinate with the cards, faux stitching around the trees and Glossies Enamel Dots. I matted the panels to 3.1/2" x 6.1/2" Mini Slimline White card blanks.
