I do like the added doodling, Anita. Love your closed blooms and leaves. They are so well done. I like how you left the white space when painting the blooms. Really gives a nice highlight. Thanks for showing both pics. Gives a different perspective of what doodling adds. So glad you come and play and share your findings with us. We all learn that way. Fav'd

Whatever makes you happy, Anita. It's your work of art. I, personally, like to do a light sketch before I start painting. With freehand watercoloring, I also like to "save my whites" rather than adding white paint or lifting paint....it takes planning ahead. Either of your paintings is pleasing to me.
I love the doodling! I love the flow of your flower grouping! The doodling adds a fun dimension to the overall painting! I am off to look at it without the doodles!
