I stamped a Birch background instead of embossing my background.
I changed the color scheme from yellow to pink.
I changed the sentiment to a stitched flag die cut
Lisa is our Teapot Challenge hostess and she is encouraging us to use scissors in some way on our cards for Carol who is a hair stylist. Since the color pink is a favorite of both Carol and myself, I was more than happy to work with some pink hues. I used scissors several times to trim some of my floral die cuts.
Many thanks, Julie and Lisa, for the wonderful challenges!

Nicely done on both challenges. That is a really attractive arrangement of flowers as your focal point with some lovely DP behind it. I like your subtle stamped birch to anchor it all.

Just lovely in the pink. The birch background looks so good. LOVE the white embossed flowers on that Nature's Thoughts panel. This is beautiful Rita and I am sure Carol will be charmed by this.

So many things on this card to make me ooh and aah. I love your "bouquet" and the way you have arranged the petals with the leaf sprigs. That die cut bow peeking out is a great touch and what you expect to tie the tag on. The patterns in both the dp panels are wonderful. I think a stylist, like Carol, will appreciate the artful composition on this. Fabulous card, Rita.
