It's a five-Thursday month, so Jayne is our WTUI hostess today - her challenge is HERE: WT864 - Let’s Border It (09/30/21) by Ozpom at Splitcoaststampers
I surprised myself by using neither dies nor punches but stamps. My first card was a tutorial which, I suppose I've vaguely done it before, but never with the precision of actually measuring and using a stamp positioner for accurate framing. I used a Unity border stamp, and Lavinia Elements Graphite Grey. Ending up with a nice square frame, I then used my small media plate and some distress inks, then a stencil and white paint to create a print in the centre. I scored the edges and added Platinum Liquid Pearls in the frame. Apart from the popped-up sentiment cut from silver glitter card and layered on white fun foam, it's a one-layer card. The border frames tutorial is HERE: Border Frames Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers - since links were doing weird things, I'm not wasting time trying to add text which might or might not end up in my finished upload.Â

Such a gorgeous card. You make the technique sound so easy. I love the scalloped square and how you stamped inside the square. Thank you for making a sample for my challenge. Happy day and hugs

Love this birthday card in these tones, Sabrina, wonderful stamped border and I love the amazing bg behind the sentiment, and the sparkle of the sentiment!
