I adapted the wonderful sketch to be an A2 for mailing reasons. I am continuing my quest to use up designer papers. This is fun and celebratory retired paper and it was a challenge to choose the papers because there are so many good ones. The circle piece was already cut, I matted that circle with a Pool Party cs mat.
I sponged around the edges of my dsp and stamped the sentiment directly on the dsp and then heat embossed it.
I had "finished" it there but decided I wanted to add something and thought this Sizzix balloon sizzlit would be a good addition, adding it in a trio of colors. The edges of the balloons were sponged as well and they were added to the card at various dimensions drawing the balloon strings with a black gel pen. I also added highlights with a white gel pen.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Wonderful birthday card.. Love the little balloon, bright colours and your mix of dp's. Way to use up the designer papers.. I need to start doing that as well... But I seem to keep buying more and more... Must have a paper fetish....
