Congratulations, Elizabeth (beadsonthebrain), on being the featured stamper ⦠you have a wonderful gallery filled with beautiful cards and inspiration. This is the card I cased:
I kept the general layout of Elizabethâs card but changed my central image to a coffee cup. Instead of using patterned paper, I created my own background paper. Instead of the scalloped border on Elizabeth's card and I die cut three lacy border strips and adhered to a panel.
I downloaded clipart to create the coffee-themed background panel as well as a large coffee cup for my main image. I over-stamped this background panel with the SU Marbled Background stamp with Antique Linen ink and sponged that ink around the edge of the panel. I computer generated the sentiment on the large cup before printing and fussy cutting. Enjoy your special week in the sun, Elizabeth!

Rita, this is a fun case of Elizabeth's card. How clever to use the digi coffee paper in the background and coffee cup image. Decorative trim on the right side of the card is perfect. I'm a coffee lover so I especially loved this card.

I always enjoy creating background papers, usually use a full sheet of CS then file any extras with coordinating solids in my scrap bin. Your DSP is beautifully done, the card is awesome. I too have a Jocelyn (niece) and she would adore this!

Rita, this looks fabulous. I love your idea to use 3 of those dies to make a wider border. It adds so much interest. That coffee cup dp you downloaded is cool and I like that you over stamped it with a background stamp. Wonderful card for Jocelyn!

WTG on creating your own dp with clipart. It looks great. Love your changes to the inspiration card and that sentiment. Perfect colors for a latte themed card too. Wonderful card.
