Today's challenge - send sunshine & happy thoughts to Lisa (Shoe girl's) Uncle & Aunt. - oh Yeah . . .and use a TAG on it! I wanted to keep my card as light hearted as possible and while there is no literal sunshine I wanted bright, joyful, sunny colors.
I spied a pile of happy face napkins while I was at work today so snagged one to do a felted cardstock bg which eventually turned into my tag instead and backed with aqua. I tied this up with a brightly striped grosgrain ribbon. There were already chunks of orange cardstock on my desk from Halloween cards so decided that would work for the base. Stamped some Unity sentiments (which I dearly love) into the open spaces above & below where I wanted to mount my tag - I considered several "fillers" for the bg before landing on some simple strips of washi tape to ground my tag. I stamped the word smile and embossed with holographic powder then fussy cut and adhered with mounting foam . . . .the pic makes it look black but IRL it shimmers in shades of yellow, orange, blue & green.
I have read that if you give someone a smile they will smile in return - sure hope that works for Chris & Neil!

Well you definitely succeeded in making a bright, joyful card. The laughing emoji with the tears is especially happy-inducing. I am sure this will make Neil and Chris smile too.

Isn't it funny, there are Unity stamps I don't buy because I like the image but can't imagine ever using the sentiment, and there are some I buy even though I know I will never use the sentiment. Just as well we are all different. I really like your fun napkin, great find.

Trust me my uncle is one that smiles when someone smiles at him and he will love this happy card. The happy smiles are sure to bring a big smile to both my aunt and uncle. Thank you so much for helping lift my uncle's spirits with this card. It truly means the world to me to have my crafty friends send him a card.

So sunshiney! Great save on that napkin for the tag. Wicked fun! I remember reading an article about color that said that orange makes you feel happy and optimistic, so...
