I really missed seeing the magnolias this Spring, so I pulled out this old PSX stamp and coloured them pink. They were just starting to come out and there were a couple of lovely trees I would see from the bus on the way to work, but then the company asked us not to use public transport and I started cycling, and there were none along my route.
I coloured the image with polychromos pencils, then sponged with distress inks. I used some DP with little flowers for the background - and fussy-cut some of them from the piece I trimmed off. I coloured those ones pink and added them, along with some vellum foliage and glitter drop centres. I used some lace stickers from Carla in two of the corners, and that's it.

Lovely magnolias, but the lacy corners really caught my eye!

Another beautiful card. I love magnolias too and they look so magnificent when the tree is in full bloom. I've never seen a pink magnolia, but your card makes me want to. Love all the little extras you added -- especially those fussy-cut flowers. So many lovely details you have added. Wonderful.
