Susan (One4Joy) provided inspiration and a visual feast with her Tickle a Teapotter challenge, Art Blooms.
I used black glossy packaging for my bg and die cut a curved edge. I smooshed ink on my glass mat and dragged bristol panels through, dried and then die cut the flower pieces. Die cut the leaves and ferns from different shades of green cs. Stamped the sentiment in the corner and adhered black panel. Layered the petals, leaves and flowers to create an arrangement and adhered to the black. TFL

Oh, every time I see those curvy borders I think I should use mine more. The black looks super against the textured white. And the lilies and hydrangea are a wonderful colour combination. I remember having some very similar wrapping paper at some stage which I could probably still dig up if I excavated deep enough.

Miss Carla, I don't think you are allowed to remove a page from Mrs. Delany's book and stick it on a card, no matter how special it looks! Seriously this is so striking Carla, any Teapotter would love to receive this.

well, Sis...I have finally stopped chuckling after reading Susie's comment! Your card is definitely Mrs D worthy. I love the tiger lilies (How did you get the petals so life like?) And the contrast between the hydrangeas is perfect. Your layout is eye-catching, I like how it direct the movement. Indeed Flowers are the earths laughter. I am happy you enjoyed meeting Mary! Thank you for bringing your heART to the gallery.

You have done a gorgeous job on those paper pieced flowers - I have always wanted to try hydrangeas done like that. The slight variation in color over the "puffs" give a beautiful realism. Love the pretty wavy edge too.
