I started sponging the edges, then used a stencil and black water color diluted with aqua brush, once dry I've stamped the foot prints over the stenciling, and added color with posca markers just a pop of color and used my fingers to move the color, doodled the frame and hand wrote the sentiment, keep distance but don't lose contact, I think that's very important!!
