This week Julie has directed our attention to MacKenzie Childs which I loved all the bits of black and white tucked in, it's so striking and I kept coming back to this Peppermint stick sprig. I have been on a play with your embossing folders kick, and although this large focal part of this card has a die, I did emboss first and then cut this by hand with scissors to get it to be a one piece element. I also wrapped real ribbons along the parts of the back embossing layer where the "ribbon" parts were embossed as a nod to the checks. Thanks for this challenge Julie, & tfl.

Wonderful card, Stacy! I love the embossed BG with the added rows of real ribbon! Love the sentiment, too--I bought the same set just because of that sentiment!
