I don't have pan pastels or chalks so I went with pastel colors instead. This is also for the any holiday but Christmas challenge...for Valentine's Day.
I had this typewriter colored and cut out ready to be used so I when rummaging through my paper scraps (I like to check there first before cutting into something new) to see if I add something that would match. To my happy surprise I found this scrap left over from some gel printing I did in my bible months ago. It was the piece that I was using after I created a print so that I wouldn't waste the paint on the brayer. The colors were perfect and it had a fun grungy vintage feel to it---perfect for my image! I stamped some flowers in the corners, and a bit of typewriter text background for interest. Then I popped the typewriter up with some foam tape, added the sentiment strips and a few stray hearts, mounted it on some pale purple cardstock I found and done. So fun!
