I made this 2 page layout of my great grandparents and grandparents for the VSBN July B challenge hosted by Sharon. Great sketch Sharon!
I found a few old pictures my mom had given me and the July challenge has inspired me to get going again on scrapping some of my gazillion pictures that I just have in boxes! Much easier to look at them in scrapbooks!
I wanted to stay with blacks and neutrals for these old black and white pictures. I used clear corner picture tabs to hold pictures in place. I decided not to mat the pictures and left them as is to keep the vintage look of the photos. I fussy cut out the "Worth Remembering" journal piece from some dsp I had. I added chipboard hearts on both pages. I also cut out verses from dsp I had and added the center strip embellishment cut from 2 different pieces of dsp, using a decorator scissors for one edge. tfl

This is just lovely! I love how you used the sketch for theses heritage photos. The papers and colors are perfect for your photos. This is just so well done, Gracie. I am so tickled you are being inspired! Thank you for adding this beauty to our VSBN Scrap Fireworks gallery!
