Part 2 ... had my husband build a quick-shelf and am so glad my supplies were already super organized. Going through boxes of accumulated "stuff" and have found 1000 photos, at least, that need to get into pages. EEK! ...This is my off week with no chemo so hoping to get to stuffing pocket pages with pics and 4x6 journaling cards. Hilarious! Was clearly a job that needed to be done, but the timing is a bit off. Ah well, we just chuckle at it all. The same day as the flood our pet bunny died and then two days after the flood my son came home with more lice in his head than I've ever imagined! We have never, ever had lice before but his desk mate often does so ... ugh. 4 hours picking bugs when you are chemo-low is not awesome. LOL Anyway, not a sob story, though it sort of sounds like my life could be a soap opera (wouldn't the fancy clothes be fun!?). Hope you are well. I think of you often! Kristin

Hi Lela!!! I think of you every time I remember my trip to Niagara Falls! Hope you are doing well! We've had lots of busy-ness over here. I was diagnosed with cancer on October 29, 2012 and have had major surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, a life-threatening (literally, doctor told me I wouldn't make it through the night) blood clot, two months off then the second round of chemo has begun this September. Phew. It's been a roller coaster but we are doing okay. My kids are all having birthdays and turning 15, 12, 9, 7... amazing! I just celebrated my 1 Year Survivor date and today is a good day. Two weeks ago our entire basement flooded: NOT THE CRAFT ROOM!?!?! You say! Most of my supplies were up on shelves and in totes so nothing was damaged but now 1/2 my scraproom is in my dining room (our only eating area in the house)...

How are you!??! I am so sorry to have fallen off the planet, again! Wow, apparently I am in that "busy mom" stage...and I don't see it ending soon! I am happily finished with my Olympics work (which was an amazing experience!) and am on the homestretch of advocating to save my children's school (and the Minister of Finance just reported in a hugely positive way for us!!!). I did get to scrapbook yesteraday, did some scraptherapy on the weekend, and am loving putting hand to papercrafting again!
