Sonja is the hostess for this month's Tickle a Teapotter challenge - you can find out all about it (and see the inspiration teapot) HERE.
I tried to use colours from her fun teapot. This is my surprise inside - a pop-up element, and totally in contrast to the front of the card (which is HERE).
I used the Pedestal pop-up card tutorial, which I'd only tried once before. My paper is some old Basic Grey, and I used the cute mariachi penguins from TCP - sadly no longer available but in regular use here .
The sentiment may be a little hard to read - it says "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. Berthold Auerbach"

Oh, how fun Sabrina! This is one of my favorite quotes you have used here in such a fun popup fashion, but it is the terrific stripes and colorful characters you have placed inside your card that really add to the surprise factor. What a terrific card this will be for the recipient! ~Karen.

Mariachi penguins-oh, my, how opposite is that? Perfect April Fool's foil. I love how your mind works.
