You know how I love to try new techniques. Well, I had already tried all but one of the techniques Polly suggested in her âTin Ceilingâ MIX challenge. So here is my stab at Stamping on Metal. I had these little pieces of copper that I kept from somethingâwho knows what. But I knew I could use them for something (story of my life). So I found a simple stamp and stamped it onto the back of the copper and boy is my hand tired from rubbing the flowers to make them pop. Then I wiped orange and yellow alcohol inks over the copper and swiped some gold mixative to make the little flowers really pop. I used my ScanNCut to cut a frame for my copper tiles and then (sniff) I covered one up with a sentiment because I couldnât find anywhere else to put it and I was bored without it.

Duh!! I was wondering where I could find some metal to stamp on because I love this technique, but I knew all my copper was gone and I thought a beer can might take a bit of work. I'm going to try this tomorrow with one of my tomato paste tubes. The lovely colour of your amazing dimensional flowers triggered that thought. You can tick this off your list of old TLCs that you are working through, it's in there somewhere ;-).

Usually when I sit down to create I have to work to find inspiration, but I think Polly already did most of the work because when I sat down this time, I had to limit the inspiration so I could create, and as I was creating I was already thinking of all the projects I want to make. Yours is simply gorgeous. I can't believe all the work you did by stamping and hand burnishing the image. 1 time would be a lot and you did 3. Wow! I am impressed. Thanks for joining in our this weeks mix-ability challenge. You have inspired me to get off my computer and create some more. Blessings.
