For Featured Stamper 604...Congratulations to Nancy Sheads (aka RowhouseGreetings)! I love her style and beautiful coloring skills! Normally I case a FS card almost the same as the original, but this week, I was inspired by Nancy's beautiful Pumpkin Spice image from Power Poppy. I liked the mug, gourds, and pumpkins, and decided to make a trio of coffee cards that reflected some fall colors she had in her card.
My images are from a new stamp company, Trinity Stamps. I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique, and three Distress oxide inks for my coffee background and splatters, and then stamped my images and sentiments with VersaFine Onyx Black.
I mounted my little 3.5 x 3.5 cards on to Copper Foil cardstock, and then tied some linen thread -yes, that one is supposed to be at an angle - around each and added three chocolate or gold sequins to each. The base is Hobby Lobby's Kraft.
1. Let's Get Coffee
2. Caffeinated Daily
3. Thinking About Brew
Super cute to tuck in with some coffee beans, or with a coffee gift card inside!
Congratulations, Nancy!

Judy,
These are wonderful! It looks like you spilled coffee on them. I had to check your accessories to see if it was used! LOL

These are wonderful! Love the simple images and sentiments that allow the background to also be an important part of the card - everything is perfectly balanced!
