The white card base is the only new paper. All the colored paper came from my scrap pile and only the yellow had enough remaining to put back in the scrap pile. My pile actually shrunk thanks to this challenge! Yay! (Okay, not noticeably, but still...)
Used an oldie but a goodie stamp set. Trimmed around the cat's paws with an Xacto knife so he could hold a heart. I tried to chalk around the die cut hearts, but I guess it's time to purchase new chalks as mine didn't quite work like they used to (they are probably at least 20 years old!) Also stamped and cut out a 2nd head and popped that up.
Stamped a small sentiment on the front from a different set, but then the "Hang in There" from this set is on the inside. I also used up a few more pieces of scrap paper on the inside to keep this card nice and bright.

I always loved that set, and it's perfect for your card for Susan. Fun primary-coloured layout, and it's really cute the way the cat is holding on to those hearts, with his popped-up head.
It's disappointing how much it takes to dent a scrap pile, isn't it!

Something about primary colors makes a very attractive and eye catching card! The cat image is so cute and your accented it so well. Thanks for coming to tea.

Great job of framing the cat so he is the star! I love the way you popped up his head so he looks 3-D. I'm sure the bright colors will cheer Susan up. Thanks for playing!
