Today I'm uploading the first two cards I made for Jan's (heartsong47) Tickle a Teapotter Summer Fun challenge. The third card is in two parts, I don't want to overload the gallery today ;-).
I had really wanted to pull out my Kitite Kits beach set for this challenge, although I feel I've made better cards with it in the past :-(. Masking and sponging, I used markers to colour the grass and fence after stamping in Versafine Clair Morning Mist. I distressed the edges, and also of the shell DP. Added some stretched and frayed cheesecloth, a simple sentiment and a couple of sand dollars.

Makes me homesick for the New Jersey shore. Summer is always the hardest when I am missing my family, the beach, boardwalk, and boat rides. Your beautiful card captures so much of what I love and miss.

I think I can feel your love for the sea every time you post a card with a sea theme. I always enjoy seeing all the birds when I'm at the beach, so it's fun to see them so prominent in your card. Love the use of the distressed cheesecloth.

Very nice beach elements combined to make a great beach scene and card. The fabric gives it great texture along with the distressed edge on the main image. Beautiful, Sabrina.

You are such a talent, the way every element you choose goes together so well complimenting everything else. Those Sandpipers are so cute and your fence is wonderful. It's a busy card, yet still so serene.
