I got two cards made this morning for the VSN, and that's it from me although there are still several challenges I would have loved to have time for. I have a commissioned card to make and we're out all day tomorrow.
I really wanted to make one for Chrissy's coffee challenge, as I got these stamps last year for a coffee-themed WTUI challenge and haven't used them since. This one went quickly - even allowing time for the two-way glue to dry so that wretched Stampendous so-called cling would stick to my block, it came in at 40 minutes.
Stamped the background in white.
Stamped the cup and sentiment and cut out. Coloured the cup with Inktense pens.
Cut two kraft rectangles, embossed the lower one and sponged with white. Popped the smaller one up on foam and the cup up on more foam.
Threaded twine through the button and stuck it on the main panel, then tucked the sentiment underneath. Added it to a kraft base and left it on the coffee maker for DH to find ;-).

the background is so cool like a chalkboard here (some walk in places really have their boards like this too ) so I am grinning from ear to ear over this one Sabrina.

The chalkboard effect is so perfect for this coffee themed card. My friends who own a local coffee shop would approve!
Fantastic card!!
