For my background I used Acrylics, Stencil and Gesso in white. I used black Gesso for the Q-Tips-dots on Top of the white Gesso. Colored my bird with Alcohol Inks.

Your parrot is certainly beautiful. The vivid green is a wonderful contrast with the purple background and the super white and black detailing (which reminds me a bit, even the white is hexagons) of frogspawn.
Das ist absolut schön Dagmar - so ein fantastischer Hintergrund und eine tolle Komposition! Liebe Dank für's Verlinken zu Try It On Tuesday! Wir freuen uns sehr!

This is cute and I love the white 'Q-Tips' flowers you created. Your bird is so cute as well!

Fun parrot and card. I love all the colors and the artsy mixed media look. A great way to incorporate the Q-tip technique. Fun, fun, fun!
