We're celebrating Barbie's birthday today. She's 59. But this Peaches 'N Cream Barbie is only about 34. Barbies are my favorite! When I turned 6, my aunt brought me to the toy store to pick out anything I wanted. I chose Peaches 'N Cream Barbie. She was so glamorous, plus her dress was * almost* orange. As a teenager, my friend, Bridget, and I would sit in class coloring each other pictures in our Barbie coloring books. Of course, I usually gave my Barbies brown hair and hers would be blonde. Now I have to hold onto this card until August, so I can send it to Bridget.
I really wanted to scan a page from one of my Barbie coloring books, but they're still at my parents' house. So I found this coloring page online and I googled Peaches N Cream Barbie and decided to make her in her box. And since I have a peach stamp, I added some peaches to the background. I finished off with Stickles on her dress because the top of her dress was fabulously shiny and iridescent. I wish that I had used my glitter embossing powder instead. I also need to add some iridescent sequins here and there.

Even before I read your description my first thought was "Here's a Barbie 'mint in box' "! Wonderful peaches bg to go with your image and I love the sparkle I am catching on her top - Great Job on this, Jen!

Hi Neighbor! I love that Barbie. My DD collected all the special Barbies that started in 1988 (I think). Some of them are valuable now. She used to get her brothers to join in, under duress! Wonderful bg dp, and the colors are so YOU!
