I had to substitute the colors but came as close as possible
I made the plaid with markers and gel pen, punched the flowers and made the heart of the flower with pearl paint, the old lady was from a decoupage sheet so cut her out and layered the 3D I used golden stickers to write "après 50 ..." courage!! which means: after 50...be aware!!
I hope the lady will like my sense of humor...

I'm glad that at 50 I didn't look like that!!! Now that I'm after 70 I guess I do. It takes courage to grow old, that's for sure. Thanks for the giggle, Anita. Love the plaid you made!

This is so funny and like Anne, I'm sure I didn't look like this at 50 but at almost 70 I am sure feeling like this - especially when the weather is bad and the arthritis kick up - great job on the DIY Plaid - it looks super Young & hip - Unlike the that poor old decoupage granny. I like your layered flowers too!

I love the plaid bg that you created!! The image of the knitting lady and the kitty is sweet. I have been working on a knitting project and I have 2 dogs to try to keep out of my way - probably easier than a cat. :>)

What a fabulous card to make for someone who is turning 50. The sentiment is a hoot- and so true too! Ha! I love your DIY plaid with white gel pen touches- love it! The dainty flowers are such a nice touch for your knitting granny here with curious feline. This could be me knitting, except we have 4 cats trying to break the yarn all the time. This is such a wonderful card! ~Karen.
