This is for DawnÂ’s Free 4 All Challenge to use your favorite stamp for 2017. My goal in the last two years has been to use retired papers, colors & supplies and to utilize retired stamps. It has truly been fun. This year, I needed a lot of birthday cards for Chemo Angels. I seemed to grab this stamp often & make multiples of the same design, using different papers & colors. When I first bought the set years ago, I hardly touched it and almost gave it away. Then, it became my to-go stamp this past year. The panel I used today was started a while ago and put aside. IÂ’m not sure why I cut up the image. A great way to finish the year is to finish a card with my favorite stamp. My new goal for 2018 is to raid my ever-growing stash and finish half-started cards and use left-overs. This card works for my new goal, too! Terrific challenge, Dawn. It will be fun to see everyoneÂ’s favorite for 2017. TFL

What a gorgeous image and card Diane and so beautifully made too! It makes a wonderful card for any occasion and certainly for Chemo Angels. The transformative "power" of the butterfly gives hope to those battling cancer. I enjoyed reading how you nearly gave this stamp set away and how you have used it so much this year that you can call it your favorite stamp for 2017. How fun! I love reading what your 2018 New Year's Resolution is because it inspires me to do the same thing. Happy New Years my friend. ~Karen.

Love your design using this stamp (which you can never give a way-just sayin'). Great colors too. Cutting your image into pieces adds quite a lot of interest. Into my faves with this one!

I am with you on making use of those old stamps that have gotten pushed aside just because they weren't new. This stamp has always remained in my collection because you just don't find this kind of artwork done on stamps so much any more.

I had a hunch this was groovy guava before reading, and I was correct. I haven't seen this color in a long time, and it's so nice you took it out to play with today. Very pretty image using soft colors...I like the way you cut it up giving it some dimension! The black as your border draws the eye right to the center~

This is very pretty and could work for a lot of different occasions. I need to make some of those same goals you have....one to add is sending cards from my stash...I have so many (and I gave away a lot this year) Happy New Year Diane!

Diane, your coloring on this gorgeous image is wonderful. Super eyecatching and it makes a beautiful Birthday card. Great goals for the New Year. My goal is to clean out my stamp room and actually use it (instead of my Kitchen Counter - lol). Happy New Year!!!

I absolutely love seeing older, and really old, sets used in challenges and in the SCS gallery. Bringing these classic images into today's trends makes you and outstanding artist! We can't buy all new, all the time. I simply love it! Great colors...wow!

I've probably had this stamp for as long as you have! If memory serves, it was a Hostess set you could choose from Stampin' Up. I have always loved it! I like the creative way you've changed it up by cutting and reassembling it. I
