This is for our alpha P challenge. P for poppies. I made this one awhile ago for our friend in Belgium. I was going for a french european feel with this one. I added black glitter to the centers of the poppies and dotted some in the sequins. Sponged edges with black soot.

Gorgeous sis and love the crimped kraft or corrugated paper bkg just added beautiful texture to your pretty poppies. She will surely love this creation.

This is absolutely wonderful Shirl. I love how your bg is sponged to look a bit like stucco which is definitely French. I way you shaded your poppies makes them look like the afternoon sun is hitting them - very nice! Your use of dark bg layers really brings the image panel forward in such a lovely way. I adore the way you use little tags, ribbon and sequin embellishments Shirl- they are fantastic finishing touches on such a lovely card! ~Karen.
