I got this cute stamp set from ********** for $2.58. I bought these because I wanted a lighthouse, but I found these images are small. They are really cute, so I decided to stamp a background using the swordfish and doodle. I used Pacific Point to stamp the background and the Pacific Point Reinker to watercolor the paper and ink the edges. I paired the Pacific Point stamped panel with some red striped paper I got from Hobby Lobby (Paper Studio). I stamped the roped border and the seagull using black distress ink and I inked the paper with Sahara Sand to give an aged feel. Finally I added and eyelet and some natural jute twine plus a little touch of red ribbon also. I stamped a happy birthday sentiment and used my paper snips to cut a banner. I wrapped the sentiment with twine also.

Thanks for playing in the Sketch Challenge. Love the nautical theme of your card. The striped paper with the blue for the background and the distressed edges look great. The seagull on the pier with the rope border is so cute. Love the twine and banner. Creative take on the layout. TFS
