I am very thrilled and honored to be a Guest Designer for this month's Color Challenge. Mary gave us some lovely colors this week, but threw in a dessert swizzle to make a fall themed card. Except for the Early Expresso these colors did not scream Fall for me. But that is why they call it a challenge. I stamped my images from the Faith in Nature set and used some Copic markers that are close to the challenge colors to color them. I used the brown shade that I picked up with a lighter color marker to get some shading and depth and make it feel more fall like. I sponged Early Expresso ink onto the small rectangles and the card base and banner. I added additional Lemon Lime Twist ink to the edges of the card base and banner. I am looking forward to what everyone else does with these colors. Happy Stamping!

Beautiful card, Kathy! I love that you pulled out this set--I' ve neglected mine for far too long. Thanks for the reminder! Your coloring is so lovely, and the wood panel embossed layer is perfect as a background. It's great to have you designing with us this month!

Kathy, this is just beautiful. I love your layout, especially the sponging and background which bring out the colors in your images.

Kathy, your card really speaks fall to me with this stamp set - love that pear image. The background embossing adds great texture too. A great card for the autumn theme dessert!

I love your layout design with these stamps! This takes me back to my childhood when we had 2 huge pear trees that we would climb and try to shake the branches for the pears to fall down.
Thanks for that trip down memory lane and big congratulations on being guest designer! Fabulous card!!
