The main panel is Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock that was spritzed with water, then run through my Big Shot using the SU Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder. The indentations in this folder are so deep, that to avoid tearing your paper, you need to spritz it with water first.
This embossed panel was glued to a matting of SU Real Red cardstock. This embossed element was then glued to the Garden Green card base using Tombow glue.
The tag was a little more challenging. I wanted it on white so the red lettering would show up, but I only have the one size punch. I solved this by first cutting a strip of Whisper White cardstock 2" wide, then centering it in the SU Scalloped Tag Topper punch to give it shape and punch the tag hole. To create the Real Red mat, I cut a strip 2-1/4" wide, and carefully centered it in the punch. I then hand trimmed the sloping side shoulders of the red tag to give them a more natural shape. The white tag was glued atop the red tag slightly lower than the red tag to give a roughly equal matting of red. Before I glued it down, however, I used an X-acto Knife to deepen the tag hole on the red tag so that no red would show through when the white tag was glued down.
The tag was stamped with the holiday sentiment from the SU Wondrous Wreath stamp set using Real Red ink. The holly are from the SU Carols of Christmas stamp set. I hand colored the leaves with Garden Green and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers, huffed on them then stamped on the tag.
The tag was then threaded with red string, and attached to the card front using two Mini Glue Dots so it could easily be removed and used on a gift. To give the red string a nice curl, I rolled up a Mini Glue Dot and used it to attach the strings in an arch.
