I did Monday's technique Challenge. I put about three different oxide inks on my craft mat, and spritzed with water, then put my tissue paper in the inks. After it was wet with the color, I put it on a paper towel to dry. I did this a second time with another layer of color after the first dried. When it all dried I wadded it up to make wrinkles, and then glued it down to cs and pushed more wrinkles in. Then I used my embossing buddy on it, then applied VersaMark, then applied and heat embossed with the gold EMP, trying to get the powder mainly on the wrinkles. I cut the piece and layered on the lemon yellow cs, and then pool party base. I colored Fairy Spencer with the Copic color Lemon Yellow, and layered it on the card. I die cut the HB twice, and colored the top with the Lemon yellow Copic.
This is for the September A Wrinkle in Time Fan Club Challenge: The central theme wrinkle; I think the wrinkled up tissue covers that. Also, for the Fan Club word theme.
F for Fairy and Fussy cut
O for oxides inks
L for Layering the dies & the colors, & Lemon Yellow
D for Die cuts and dimensionals
This is also for the Alphabet Challenge for F
could be the double challenge if you say the background is swirls of gold.
Thanks for looking.

WooHoo Miss Sharon!!! You sure nailed a heap of challenges. Every itty bitty crinkled inch of this is fabulous. Fairy Spencer looks right at home in this great setting. Thanks for all the details too.

Beautiful background, definitely wrinkled. And a sweet bird image. I love the way he's standing on a long wrinkle so that it almost looks like a fine twig.

Sharon, this card is enchangingly delightful and charming. Your bg turned out so amazing that for a moment, I thought this bird was standing on a branch when it is really one of the wrinkles. Very nicely done! I kind of wish I was Fairy Spencer able to ride away on his winged feather friend! Someone will be thrilled with this wonderful birthday card Sharon! ~Karen.
