This was a quick card for the SCS color challenge this week : 2 shades of pink and a bluish-green color. And finally I was able to remain true to the challenge without using any extra colors!
I made the main panel with distress inks and added some design with a stencil and glitter water. This gave a light pattern and alot of shimmer. Next I stamped the flowers with black archival ink. For the 3rd color, I made the border with it and stamped the sentiment. I also used a background stamp on the border to go along the main panelÂ’s stencil pattern. To finish the card, used some pearls for the flower center and embellishments at the corners.
Thanks for looking!

I love the soft sponging in the background.

The black silhouette flowers really pop with the berry burst behind them. Framing the card with the base of Lost lagoon was really smart. It tones down the brighter colors into a beautiful blend!

Fabulous. Love how you used the berry & pink to make a washed background. So pretty. Nice frame. Good for you using only the challenge colors. Looks great! Terrific card! TFS
