This week's Alphabet Challenge: Letter D-Danny the Dapper Dough man. Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
This is my story: The world famous Danny The Dapper Dough Man, who could make pizzas with his eyes closed, got fidgety with his job. Instead of feeling stressed, he scurried next door to see Bertha The Baker, and just in time no less because she was about to take a nasty fall! Danny was able to stop her from cracking her head against the ceramic tiled flooring, but he couldn't help her completely. Bertha managed to twist her ankle and would be out of work for several days. The light bulb went off in Danny's head: I can take Bertha's place while she's recovering. This way I will not be so bored with fixing pizzas & breads, and the bakery will be taken care of. After all, there were plenty of other dough men in the shop to cover for him. And that's why he is proudly holding up his first bakery product: A Birthday Cake!
I paper pieced all of Danny, fussy cut each piece, water colored using blender pens and ink pads. I also drew lines with my white gel pen and black fine tip marker. Used the corner rounder punch and sponged edges in black. Black Dp layer is on fun foam. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

And a mighty fine cake it is! Loved your story! No wonder I haven't seen this guy, he has been buried in piazza dough! Fabulous paper piecing! Beautifully done, Roberta!
