I created this card as a "Green Christmas" card, since I live in Texas, where we have had exactly ONE white Christmas in at least the past 39 years. I stamped the tree mostly with my green inks, then used Versamark & sticky embossing powder on the last layer. After melting the powder, I added Opal foil to that, to give a bit of shine. It is way more subtle than I had expected, but I still like it! I die cut an oval from mixed media paper, and cut that into 2 pieces with a "Snow Drifts" die. I inked the top blue & the bottom kind of a yellow-green, to mimic the dead grass we typically have in December. After piecing the oval back together, I glued the tree to that. I adhered all my pieces to a light blue A2-size cardstock panel, and heat embossed my greeting. I finally mounted my card front to a white A2 card base. Feel free to go to my blog to get a closer look & see a detail shot of the foiling: https://andreaspaperantics.blogspot....xas-style.html. Tfl!
