Our regular usher at a sports venue was told by a new supervisor he wasn't wearing approved socks at a game, even though he had ushered and worn that type for years. He was angry and upset, so I made him a card and bought him a pair of "regulation" white socks - though they were toddler sized.
He's of an age to remember "Laugh In" and "sock it to me." I used two tiny sock stamps to make the background, and die cut letters to adhere to kraft paper.
The card was a little oversized so the socks would fit into it, so I made a kraft envelope with the envelope punch board.
He kept leaving his post to show other ushers and hung the card and socks in the usher locker room. So a card really can really make a difference, in this case turning anger into laughter and hugs. And yes, he showed his young boss. : )

I thought of the TV show the minute I read your card title. This is a hoot and such a fun creation and a very thoughtful thing to do. I love your reason for choosing this card as Fav for 2017.
