After stamping the image onto mixed media paper with Versafine, I heat embossed with clear embossing powder, and colored her with my Inktense pencils & a damp paintbrush. For the poinsettia, I die cut the pieces from mixed media paper, and used the ink smooshing technique with Distress inks & my homemade Perfect Pearls mist to color them. Note to self: if you don't want freckles/chicken pox on your little girl, make sure the image panel is nowhere in sight when you are spraying the red Distress inks on your craft mat with water! Thankfully, I was able to lift off or camouflage most of the red speckles--whew! For the circle element on the sketch, I traced around a die onto my background cardstock, and then carefully stitched along the line with my sewing machine & some silver-ish rayon thread. I did the greeting on the computer, and printed it onto a strip of green cardstock that I thought went well with the center of the die cut poinsettia. Finally, I assembled the card, following the sketch, and cut off the parts of the flower that were hanging over the edge.
