I started this background by painting a wash of pacific point. I didn't like it much so I added some broad brush strokes of white acrylic paint, eventually covering the entire background. When it dried I could see some of the blue through the white, giving it a frosty look. I dry embossed the Snowflakes EF. It needed something more so I used the Encore silver pad to highlight the snowflakes. It still needed more so I decided to add some silver EP to the flakes. Since the Encore ink took a while to dry the EP stuck to the snowflakes fine. That was it! Now I actually liked this card. I stamped some more silver snowflakes and embossed them and added the greeting cut in silver foil paper.

Gorgeous!!! Love how you created this background. It's fabulous. The die-cut "peace" is all it needed. Terrific card. Nice coordinating envelope, too. Love it!! TFS
